The route promises a stunning yet demanding journey, featuring a significant ascent to Jamnik and passing through Podblica, the hometown of Matej Mohorič (Bahrain Victorious).

L’Etape Slovenia by Tour de France presents an exceptional challenge with over 2,000m of climbing. The participants gave a 9,1 out of 10 score of satisfaction with the L’Etape Slovenia 2024 event.

A 2-day cycling festival

Saturday: Socializing & networking by cycling we all love

A two-day cycling festival L’Etape Slovenia is taking place in Kranj, the capital of Gorenjska region in September 6-7, 2025, where all the starts and finishes are taking place.

The Saturday’s cycling events aim to join all generations – from toddlers on balance bikes to youngsters, and a family ride, from attractive slope challenge – climb to Jelenov hill in length of 1 km, and to this year a premier – a business team ride in approximately 40km length.

However, the details for Saturday’s events will be announced in the coming weeks.

Sunday challenges you with two routes: Ride or Race

Sunday's 80km ride and 150km race enables you to enjoy a breath-taking Tour de France experience and ride on closed roads in surroundings of Kranj, and through places where Slovenian cycling champs train.

The route also passes the birthplaces of Tadej Pogačar (Komenda) and Matej Mohorič (Podblica).
